GISBORNE TO CELEBRATE STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL 2011

People of the East Coast mark Saturday November 12th 2011 in your diary as a day to sample the sweet treats of summer!  

The annual National Hospice Strawberry Festival is on once again in the Rose Garden outside Lawson Field Theatre, Gisborne.

Celebrate the work of your local Hospice by sharing the joys of spring, life and love at the 3rd National Hospice Strawberry Festival. Come together with family, friends and colleagues to raise funds for the Gisborne Palliative Care Service

Join us for the season’s first pick of the strawberry crop – bowls of delicious strawberries and ice cream served for you by Hospice volunteers with happy smiles and loving care.

Enjoy the atmosphere and entertainment  Take time out to sit back, savour the sumptuous strawberries, and enjoy the activities provided throughout the day. 

This will be the 3rd Strawberry Festival for Gisborne Palliative Care Service and we hope to build on the success of previous years.  It’s a great opportunity for friends and families to support a great cause and have fun at the same time.
